Why should I backup my files, photos, music and videos in the 25 GB Cloud Vault?
Stuff always happens! ClaimProof features Cloud Computing, which guarantees your backup files will always be there in the Vault. Can you imagine the nightmare you would have in trying to re-create your files, photos, music & videos if they weren't securely stored in the 25 GB Cloud Vault?
How do I backup my files, photos, music and videos into my 25 GB Cloud Vault?
There are 2 upload methods you can use to backup your files, photos, music and videos into your 25 GB Cloud Vault. You can either upload your files, photos, music and videos directly via your computer or you can upload them via email. For large digital files or for bulk file storage we recommend using the email method.
Are my backup files as good as my original files?
Yes! Digital backup copies of receipts for large ticket items (which you may need for insurance purposes or product returns) are as good as the originals. Backing up your receipts will help you cut down on receipt clutter & also to protect you from lost, faded, or damaged purchase records. The IRS will accept digital copies (scans of your receipts) if you're ever audited! In other cases (such as a lost birth certificate or stolen passport), your backup will make it easier for you to secure a new original from the issuing organization by giving you all the pertinent information needed for your new application. You can also replace lost or destroyed photos, music & videos.
What should I backup into my 25 GB Cloud Vault?
You should backup all your digital files, photos, music & videos. If your files are still in paper form (such as receipts or tax returns) you must first digitize them by scanning them into a computer or have them sent to you via email. For example, you can have your accountant or tax service company, send your tax returns to you via email.

Worldwide Remote Access
Can I access my ClaimProof account from anywhere in the world (such as if I’m traveling)?
Yes! You can access your ClaimProof account from any Web Browser in the world. Simply login to your account using your unique username and password.
Security
Will my backup files be secure?
Yes! Your backup files are absolutely secure. We offer several security features to protect your backup files including 128 bit encryption of your files in transit and on-site and the use of a secure socket layer (SSL) certificate. SSL encrypts everything sent to and from your computer with a 1024-bit RSA key. We also offer encrypted logins and sessions, password-protected account access, and in-cloud firewall network protection. Your backup files are physically stored in a secure repository using the latest Cloud Computing technology.
Will anyone else be able to view or access my backup files?
No one can access your backup files. They are zipped / compressed until you choose to download them. Your backup files can only be accessed by you or by the 9 extra users that you choose to share your information with (based on the permissions that you choose to set for them).
How does Cloud Computing protect my backup files?
Cloud Computing offers you greater protection against data loss compared to traditional practices of storing a single copy of a file on a single storage device or drive. Instead, all or parts of the encrypted files are automatically, and securely, copied to multiple storage devices in physically separated locations. If problems arise at one location, your backup files won’t be lost.
How does the ClaimProof secure backup system work?
After your backup files are received in the 25 GB Cloud Vault they are compressed (zipped) for your security. Secure encryption of your backup files protects your valued privacy. Your backup files are then stored on our secure servers. Cloud Computing guarantees that your backup files will always be there in your 25 GB Cloud Vault. Should you need to retrieve any of your backup files, you simply login to your ClaimProof account, then download and decompress (unzip) the backup files you would like to access. Your backup files can then be viewed or printed as needed.
